AV in Lecture Theatres – LED Touch Panel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Lecture Theaters in the University have access to AV. There are multiple types of AV systems – touch panel control or a button panel control. These guides are designed to help you make best use of facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning the AV On<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switch the AV ON\/OFF<\/strong> using the Touch Panel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To activate the touch<\/strong> panel control simply touch the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> the controls on the side of the control panel do not work
To Power Off<\/strong> the touch panel select System OFF<\/strong> on the bottom left of the touch panel.
You will have the option to Cancel this action or continue to shutdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the Lectern PC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"First<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It is possible to either use the PC<\/strong> provided in the Lectern or a Laptop to connect to the AV system.
PC<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select PC<\/strong> (top left)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Log into the PC <\/strong>as normal using your staff username and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using a Laptop\/BYOD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(This can be any device that is connected via a VGA or HDMI cable)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select Laptop<\/strong> (top left)
You can either connect your device with a VGA<\/strong> cable or with a HDMI<\/strong> cable
(not supplied)
Log into your device as normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the Document Camera<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility allows you to project paper documents onto the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select Doc Camera<\/strong> (top center)
The projector will now display anything that is placed on the Lumens document pad.
All the controls for the Doc Camera<\/strong> will be displayed on the LED control panel or can be accessed on the Doc Camera<\/strong> itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the Blu-Ray Player<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility is for stand alone play-back of Blu-Ray, DVD’s and Audio CD media<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select Blu-Ray<\/strong> (Top right)
All the controls for the Blu-Ray<\/strong> will be displayed on the LED control panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the Rear Lecture Capture Camera\/PTZ Camera<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility gives you access to the camera located in the classroom (If available).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select Camera<\/strong> (top right)
The projector will now display the image from the Camera<\/strong>
All the controls for the Camera<\/strong> will be displayed on the LED control panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blanking the Projected Image<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility allows you to blank off the projector screen so that the audience cannot see any content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select Blank Projector<\/strong> (bottom left)
To bring the screen back select Blank Projector<\/strong> again<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility is used by the AV team only
