Turning on the Boardroom AV
To turn the screen On, locate the square panel in the room by the display and press the power button on the bottom right.
To power off the touch panel press the power button again.

Booking and Using a Microsoft Teams Room (MTR)
“Invite this room,” into your meeting, see image above.
The term “roster” means “attendees,” so in this example you would search
for “Bede House 1.27” in the Required field of your Microsoft Outlook/MS Teams Calendar Invitation

As previously noted please add the room to a new or existing Microsoft Teams Meeting through
Outlook or Microsoft Teams Client.
The meeting organisers name will appear on the Crestron Touch Screen
Joining a Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) Call
Once made your Booking including the Room it will be listed on the Crestron
Touch Panel
Tap ‘Join‘ on your booking to start
Microphone and camera setup is automatic and you will
then be presented with the MS Teams Meeting interface
To display BYOD content, join a laptop to the meeting and share to
Teams in the usual manner
Keep any additional devices in the room muted & cameras
off
OR
‘Share’ via the Crestron Touch Panel will in the future
allow a laptop device to be connected via HDMI noted in the instruction below
Sharing Content from a Laptop into MS Teams
There are two methods to share content:
Use either the HDMI cable or USB-C cable presented on the boardroom desk. Plug this
into your laptop and an option on the touch screen will appear, select “Connected device”
Join the ongoing MS Teams call from your laptop
ensuring your microphone and speakers are muted.
Then use the share screen option in MS Teams.
Making a non-Microsoft Teams Call, e.g. Zoom
Use either the presented HDMI cable with USB-A OR USB-C cable. This will be on the boardroom desk. (Please do not plug in all the cables to your laptop, this is not best practice). Plug this into your laptop and an option on
the touch screen will appear either to Host or Present
If you do not select an option your connected laptop will on the display screen by default to
present within 10 seconds.
Select “Host a meeting from your computer” to run a web conference on the touch screen and your laptop will appear on the main display.
Once your selection has been made within the timeframe the in-room speaker, microphone and camera will begin enabling.

Ad-hoc calls using Microsoft Teams Room
Ad-hoc calls can be made without bookings by using the “Meet” and “Call” options, and then adding other users, or telephone numbers to the call.
Calls to mobile phones, landlines, and internal extensions should be possible, but check for international phone calls.
